Founded in 1850 in Le Mans by Monsieur Courboulay, Maison Drouault has been committed to a demanding industrial and artisanal tradition since its inception. Constant Drouault joined the company in 1896 before taking sole control in 1910, leaving a lasting mark on its development and identity.
Renowned for its craftsmanship and ongoing commitment to comfort and quality, the company is still based in Le Mans today. There, it develops and manufactures a wide variety of models under its own brand, as well as for customers with particularly demanding specifications.
Thanks to the flexibility of its production facilities, Drouault is able to serve a variety of markets—department stores, retail, specialised distribution—while also supplying some of the most demanding hotels in France and abroad.

With up to 5 tonnes of natural materials processed every day, Drouault has unique expertise in the art of enhancing down. The company masters the entire transformation chain, from the rigorous selection of exceptional quality duck and goose feathers and down to the final manufacture of the products.
Each step—washing, drying, sterilisation, sorting and assembly—is carried out with precision and rigour in order to preserve the natural properties of the materials and guarantee consistent quality. This complete mastery of the process is at the heart of the manufacturer’s historic expertise.
